Build from the drawings
Understand the technical intent before execution begins.
I am Olusola Ayodeji Ezekiel, a Civil Engineer and Project Manager with more than a decade of experience delivering residential, commercial and public-sector construction projects. My experience spans structural execution, site coordination, technical drawing interpretation, resource planning, quality control and multidisciplinary project delivery from early works through completion.
I bring a practical, hands-on approach to construction leadership, combining technical understanding with the coordination, decision-making and delivery discipline required to keep people, resources and site activities moving toward a successful outcome.
My construction career has been built around one central responsibility: turning drawings, plans and resources into finished work on site.
Over the years, I have worked across structural construction, renovation, commercial developments, residential projects and public infrastructure, taking responsibility for both technical execution and the coordination required to deliver effectively.
My experience includes supervising reinforcement, formwork, concrete operations, masonry, roofing, finishing and foundation works; interpreting structural and architectural drawings; coordinating artisans and site teams; managing materials and resources; monitoring quality; resolving site issues; and maintaining alignment between project requirements and actual execution.
As my responsibilities grew from Site Engineer to Site Manager and Project Manager, my role expanded beyond supervising individual activities. I became increasingly responsible for sequencing work, coordinating multiple teams, managing dependencies, supporting programme delivery and making practical decisions where time, quality, cost and site realities had to be balanced.
Understand the technical intent before execution begins.
Good site management depends on anticipating dependencies.
Quality control should happen during the work, not only at handover.
Leadership on site means taking responsibility for people, resources, decisions and outcomes.
A selection of residential, commercial, institutional and public-sector projects representing different stages of my construction career. Each project documents the scope of work, my role, key technical activities, delivery responsibilities and the project journey through photographs and site records.

Every project brings different constraints. The responsibility remains the same: understand the work, coordinate the people and deliver it properly.
My responsibilities grew from technical supervision and drawing interpretation into sequencing, resource coordination, programme ownership, multidisciplinary delivery and project leadership.
Structural supervision, drawing interpretation, bar-bending schedules, workforce coordination, quality checks and day-to-day technical execution.
Broader responsibility for sequencing, resources, multiple trades, site priorities, progress monitoring and coordination across construction stages.
Programme-level coordination, multi-structure delivery, stakeholder alignment, resource planning, dependencies, quality and overall project execution.
Additional field records from institutional and faith-based developments, documenting structural work across different stages of construction.
